NZ Tackle Football - 2025 Confirmed Programmes

Thank you to everyone who submitted registrations of interest over the holiday for 2025 NZ Tackle Football programmes.

Based on these submissions we are pleased to announce the following NZ Tackle Football Programmes for 2025.

•    NZ Tackle Football - Senior Men

•    NZ Tackle Football - U18 Men

National Team Staff are getting organised, these appointments will be announced in the coming weeks.

Both teams will be preparing to compete at the Festival of Football in Gold Coast, Australia on 12th July 2025.

All NZ American Football international campaigns are user-pays / self-funded.

We are still very early in the planning & budgeting phase of this campaign, however, have forecasted a high-end estimate of *$4,500 per player, to participate in this campaign.

The only opportunity to showcase your skills in front of national team coaches is at our upcoming Regional Trial events:

• Auckland - Sunday 16th March  2025 - 9am-3pm

• Wellington - Thursday 20th March 2025 - 4pm-8pm

• Christchurch - Sunday 23rd March 2025 - 9am-3pm

Please note: 

All interested athletes must:

1) Hold a valid NZ Passport and 

2) Reside in NZ and 

3) Have a minimum 1 year Tackle Football playing experience.

Please note *$4,500NZD: 

All NZ American Football international campaigns are user-pays / self-funded.

The participation cost of $4,500 per player is the forecasted maximum participation cost and is an estimate. We do not expect this campaign will cost more than this, per player.

The estimated costs consider the following items in $NZD:

• Campaign regular training

• Campaign regular online classroom

• Campaign pre-departure camps x 2

• Campaign Uniform

• Campaign Equipment Costs

• Tour Costs including:

  • Return Airfares - ex Auckland.

  • Sports Insurance

  • Accommodation 

  • Transport

  • Meals

  • Team Uniform & Apparel etc.
